12th January 2012 American Central Transport Increases Pay For Contractors With HAZMAT Endorsement
Liberty, MO) - American Central Transport, Inc. (ACT) announced that it will increase the pay for independent contractors who have their HAZMAT endorsement beginning in March, 2012. Contractors with HAZMAT will be paid $1.00 per loaded mile on every load they haul for ACT, including non-HAZMAT loads.

(Liberty, MO) - American Central Transport, Inc. (ACT) has selected Edmund Bruce Gray as the 2010 Safety Star "Driver of the Year" and has also recognized 45 others who qualified as a Safety Star all four quarters of 2010. Eligibility was based on a driver averaging over 7 mpg, exceeding the average ACT miles, and having an annual scorecard rating of 'A'.
Honorable Mentions for Driver of the Year Award went to Doug Beyer, Greg Dater, William Skinner and Merton Todd. Runners up for Safety Star Driver of the Year were Steve Crawford, Lloyd Dixon and Phillip Taylor.

10th February 2011 American Central Transport To Raise Pay For Company Drivers
(Liberty, MO) - American Central Transport, Inc. (ACT) announced that it is raising pay for company drivers as part of a new Pay For Performance pay model. Under this new plan, which becomes effective March 1st, company drivers will receive up to $.45 per mile.
